I've been eye on this since $295 and now $279, it advertises to reduce sugar from rice, which is interesting to test out, can I return it if it doesn't reduce sugar more than 10%? if only multi-cooker, it is a bit pricey, enjoy.

No remorse buying this one, but it is not made in Japan (less premium).
As an Asian, I lost a lot of fat by stop eating rice (Brown Rice included).
What do you eat instead?
Salad.
But how does it do that - reduce the sugar?
Magic
Apparently it has a "Sugar Steamer" insert that you can use with short grain rice:
"When cooking with the "Healthy Low Sugar" function
Preparation
● Wash rice ( Steps 1-2 on page 6), put the washed rice in the sugar steamer, flatten the surface, and put the sugar steamer into the pan."Never heard of reducing sugar before.
What I read is that by heating cooling rice it becomes resistant start which will reduce the glycemic load and calories as resistant starch won’t be absorbed by the body fully. This works with all ways of cooking. Key is to cool and reheat.
It separates the starch from the rice, so you have low carb rice.

I was too slow
is the steamer made of stainless steel or aluminium?
I’m officially done, thank you
