        • Have you received it, yet?
I just got an email saying that they've run out of the auto empty bin and are trying to send more to Australia.
Should be sent out to Australia by end of December.

@Deviant88: Nope I got the same email. I'm in no rush so happy to wait.

          • @Deviant88: Just got a shipment email!

            • @Vavoom: So, overall, I'm pretty happy with the performance of both the vacuum and dock.

I just need to be content with the placement (or home) for the dock.

Note: Stock up on bags for the dock, they aren't reusable. Or, put a zip on the bag to be able to reuse it.

Any recommendations for a good mopping vacuum? Majority of my floors are hard surface and this one seems like it's not the best for lots of mopping?

    • +1

This vacuum is good for mopping but I guess it won't hold enough water for your whole house.

You will just have to either find a vacuum with twice the water storage which probably doesn't exist or move to one of those vacuums that collects water from the base unit.

The deal is over, Lubluelu has increased the base price by $90, price after applying the voucher is now $287.20. Pretty weird move by them to do that on Cyber Monday.

Thanks for letting me know, deal expired, I believe they sold out. When I posted the deal they'd sold less than 200, now it's over 600. Restock is obviously at a higher price. Almost 3k clicks and 400+ units sold, pretty good conversion rate!

My honest review…was it worth the $215 or so I purchased for? Yes, but I wouldn't pay above this price point. This was my first experience of a automated/robotic vac - tested on tiles.

Mapping: No issues an relatively good. It attempted to map and outline first before doing inner "lines".
Floor Suction: Average, even with the strongest setting it was difficult to pick up some harder debris or in corners.
Mopping: Didn't try given it was already quite late in the day and couldn't be bothered learning how to do it.
Battery: OK-ish, took about 2.5hrs to get it fully charged and used it for about 40 minutes before it went flat.

If I had a massive mess, hard to remove debris then I'd not use it. Simply put - great time saver so you can spot clean harder more stubborn grime manually. The only real major advantage was that it did save me time & energy so I could spot clean and mop.

Don't buy into the hype….this is not really a replacement for sweeping with a broom or removing the manual vacuum - it does an OK but but my own case and experience it can only be used as a supplement. I'd get the vacuum to basically do a couple of rounds on the areas we mostly use and then spot clean areas where the machine either can't reach or hadn't done a very good job and then use my time and energy to mop. It's not a gimmick by any means and does have a place in my cleaning routine! Not sure how good the more expensive ones are though?

So I've owned a Roborock S7 since 2018 and I bought this one too and I would say that it's normal to have to still spot vacuum despite running a robot vacuum. I believe the strength of the robot is that you can run it daily if you want to pick up all those annoying little bits of debris and skin and hair that appear just from a consequence of living.

I still manually vacuum the whole place once a week cause a Dyson has much better suction, but for keeping your floors above a certain standard of cleanliness, the robot can't be beat, especially for not having to lift a single finger.

So to answer your question about how much better the more expensive ones are, not that much better, which is why spending only $200 for something that do the job of a $800 robot is amazing.

FWIW I found the performance of the Lubluelu as good as my aging Roborock with the bonus of having a basic mop ability.

      • Thanks for sharing your experience with the more expensive ones, then in that case, saved me some cash lol. Suppose given the design constraints power would be limited. Even if they

For my purposes, I'm happy - wife is a clean freak so we tend to vacuum and mop every single day - kitchen, living, dining and rumpus. Even though it does an OK job - saves us time to just spot clean with a manual vacuum and then focus on the mopping.

Seems a little silly to compare a $215 vacuum to an actual vacuum operated by a human plugged into an AC outlet.

The whole point here is that this $215 vacuum can perform similar to an $800 vacuum.

  • I can’t seem to get my iPhone to connect to the 2.5 GHz wifi thingey. Help! 🤯😭

My phone keeps showing “No internet connection”.

    • +1

It's the robot that connects to the 2.5G wifi, not the phone. Just follow the setup instructions on the card, it's pretty straight forward, just remember to have your phone connected to the local wifi & bluetooth on.

Oh thank you. It worked now.

  • Anyone receive there's yet? Mine hasn’t even been posted and it’s now changed from a black vac to a white one

    • Yeah received mine last week no probs. Might want to contact the seller to see what's going on.

    • I'm waiting on mine and the order was delayed so raised an enquiry with eBay. Seller asked me for some more time and in the meantime eBay has given me a refund for my order. I have contacted the seller for further details and can also see a delivery date betweeb dec 5-7. All very confusing.

    • Yep. Working now

    • +2

Yep, was slightly longer than usual but it showed up. We're so stoked with it, it works really well on our hardwood floors, and traverses the various rugs really easily. The fact it has a sufficiently small profile to get under the couches, bureau, entertainment unit & other pieces of furniture is a huge bonus. It constantly updates the map of the house, and for the first time I'd recommend clearing the floors where possible ie putting stools on the kitchen bench & cleaning up kids / dog toys & definitely loose cables. We haven't used our Dyson stick vac since the robot arrived, it's so thorough, even on edges. Run time is really good, it takes 40-50min to do our house and it's still got 40% or so battery left. Haven't tried the mop feature yet. Best $209 I've spent in a long time!

Mine finally arrived and couldn’t be more happy. What a score for $200 this thing is amazing

  • mine worked once, then went offline and wont reconnect, tried reset, removing battery. just wont go into pairing mode. its like it just quit!

    • Contact Lubluelu, they have a claimed 2 year warranty.
