We have 2 American Tourister suitcases still under warranty. They have 4 handles. Three of them broke while we were in the UK . Following the UK we spent another month in Europe.
.Getting them repaired while travelling couldn't be done.
We are both in our 70s. This was a major pain in the arse.
Be wary of American Tourister quality.

They are lucky they bought AT which will honour their warranty. If they bought Antlers good luck trying to make a claim
The handles are made of a rubber that cracks.My wife's broke first. It was then evident that the other 3 handles had cracks.
It broke when she was positioning it on an escalator in London.

IMHO the cost of luggage has increased quite substantially in recent years. Large branded suitcases are usually north of $200 even after promotions.
During COVID, luggages were cheap cos no one's buying them since no one's travelling. Post COVID everyone wants to travel and these companies will milk it anyway they can.

I don't know about the price, but they are really good quality luggages I find.
