Signum are a microbrand who are noted for their Cuda Full Lume range of watches, where they apply multiple layers of Superluminova to the dials, hands, indexes, and dates (if selected) to give the brightest & longest lasting night illumination of practically any watch on the market. See the Lume Wars video at Just One More Watch to see how impressive it is. Time & Tide featured Signum at the top of their list of The 10 best lume dial watches.

The link above is to the stainless steel model for AU$399 (now AU$339.15), Signum also do a range of Grade 2 Titanium models for AU$449 (now AU$381.65) as well. There's 3 colours to choose from, but apart from the difference in the case material the specs are similar and feature common offerings found on other NH35A/NH38 powered timepieces:

  • Case Size - 42.5mm
  • Lug To Lug - 48mm
  • Case Thickness - 13.6
  • Movement - Automatic Seiko NH35 (date) and NH38 (no date)
  • Crystal - Sapphire Crystal
  • Hands - SuperLuminova Hour/Minute hands and markers
  • Bezel - Ceramic Bezel
  • Bracelet width- 22mm
    Water Resistance - 20ATM/200m

If you want to try something truly unique then check out the Cero Bronze Forged Carbon dial infused with Lume. Same generous application of lume in a very different fashion at the same price as the Titanium models.

Additionally, their Sollus Chrono range is 40% off - it mustn't be selling too well and they need to clear it out. It's a fairly standard VK63 powered chrono which the most interesting feature is a wide range of dial materials to choose from. If this is your jam it comes down to a pretty affordable AU$239.40.
