What Do You Use to Store Woolworths Group Gift Cards?

I used to use the Woolworths Money app to store all my WISH/Woolworths/Big W gift cards. However, on the 6th November they stopped allowing new cards to be added. They encourage us to use the Everyday Rewards app to store gift cards now, but this is no good if you have multiple Woolworths Rewards cards to choose from when shopping.

Therefore, can I ask what everyone here uses to store and use their gift cards? Naturally, I would prefer to be scanning a barcode instead of typing in numbers when using them in-store.

    In the rewards app you can click on wallet, then click on gift cards (twice), then click a specific gift card, then click "show barcode". A lot of messing around but you get there in the end

    eGC can still be used with other EDRs after adding to one EDR in App.

    Store your Gift Cards on the app, and bring them up manually and just use something else to store your multiple Woolworths Rewards cards.

    Why multiple? What benefit does that really provide? Discounts all the time? Why not just get Everyday Rewards Extra? which is well worth the cost and gets you all sorts of bonus points.

      If you have multiple accounts, and each signed up to say insurance, mobile phone etc, you get multiple 10% off to use in a month

      Because I've used all the gift cards I added to the Money app, and can't add any new ones.

      Also, if you try scanning a Rewards card when purchasing, if you then use Everyday Pay to pay, and your Everyday Rewards app is linked to a different Rewards card, your purchase is made with points going to the latter Rewards card.

        you can delete cards in the money app, how many barcodes are you keeping there

          Yes I know you can delete cards, but you can't add new ones.

          And besides, you'll need to find an alternative as well, because they're killing off the Money app in January 2024.

    I use Everyday rewards app and it shows me the gift card barcode to scan in store.

    I used to use Stocard to store WW and Coles and other gift cards, but that stopped working 2 months ago. Haven't found a good replacement yet.

      What do you mean stopped working? I know they stopped letting you purchase gift cards in the app, but I still use it for all gift cards that have been bought elsewhere.
      Or did you only store cards there that you bought from Stocard itself?

        No Stocard bought cards.

        I've been unable to add any gift cards into it for a while now. When I go to search Merchant, it comes back with no results and hence, can't add any new cards. Could find no way to add card.

          Sounds like a bug. I don't see any button that says search Merchant. I literally just press the plus button on the top right corner of the main screen, search for woolworths/coles/etc or press Other Card and it works fine. There's been no change that I've seen.

        Bend over, so the magnetic strip goes on the outer side. It's easiest when stores have the wireless terminal, I just grab it and scan myself.

    Use Stocard to save anything with a barcode. Easy to add since you can either copy/paste the number or use a photo/screenshot of the gift card to add it. I use the card description spot to save the pin and keep track of how much is left on it.

    Also, the barcodes Stocard displays actually scans easily, unlike so many of the various app provided Coles gift cards barcodes. The ones that are sent to people as pdfs are really annoying to scan as your having to constantly move and resize the barcode and it still frequently won't scan.

    I am using Loyalty Card Keychain https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=protect.card_l….
    It is not the most fancy or convenient. But it is small, requires minimum permissions and does not access Internet to steal my data. Same reason I don't use Stocard or Mobile-Pocket
