Great Christmas gift to beat the heat. Terrible gift for vegans.

Mulberry Silk Pillowcases are great for your skin as they won't strip moisture from your face while you sleep like normal cotton and polyester pillowcases will.
Just be aware the quality can differ a lot from manufacturer (if they don't list the Momme quality, it's often low quality otherwise they would state it, 19 momme should be the minimum) and read the fine print as some are only silk on one side.
For me yes. From my experience, you should also hand wash the cases to maintain the silk quality else it feels less smooth.
I've heard only one side is actually silk while the other side is polyester?
First line in the description confirms.
Front Material : 100% Pure Mulberry Silk, Reverse Material : Non-Slip Polyester
Doesn't that defeat the purpose?
Not entirely, you're just not supposed to flip it.
Their marketing even claims polyester "grips" the bed better than silk, but that's a stretch at best.
Single sided doesn't work for me so I only buy full double sided silk.
I got this brand to try a year ago, it's real silk and decent for the price but I'd rate it medium to low quality.
The zipper's cheap, when it breaks it'll render it a useless silk sack.@ozilicious: Thanks, what would you recommend?
@cheekymonkey97: Low budget
-No zipper
-With cheap zipper, silk feels slightly thicker than above but definitely not 25 mommeMedium low budget
-Thicker with better quality zip and stichHigher budget
-Ecosa (but they have weird sizes to fit their ergo pillow)
-Sheridan
-Slip@ozilicious: Wow, thanks. Really appreciate the effort!
@cheekymonkey97: You're welcome, been through a lot of fake or garbage quality over the years so happy to share my experience
As someone who has only ever owned regular pillow cases, are these good?
I assume they are silky smooth on your skin/face?
