    not the best pre workout

I liked jacked better than this

  • Never heard of this before. Can someone comment on it?

    • +1

Never had it but ingredients seem good. Points for including citrulline instead of arginine.

I now make my own pre-workout supplements with dextrose, creatine, caffeine, beta alanine and citrulline. Heaps better and cheaper.

      • I've thought about making my own but not too savvy on the ingredients. Do you mind PM-ing me a link or how you made it?

        • Just buy the raw components and mix them.
Remember to add some Arginine and AAKG in them

        • Individual ingredients can be purchased from Vitacost too. I purchased 480 tablets of 200mg caffeine anhydrous for $8.97 delivered (with $10 referal bonus) on my first order. The same amount from Bulk Nutrients costs $76 so it was worth waiting the extra week for delivery from Vitacost.

        • Any opinions on L-Tyrosine guys?

        • combine with caffeine for a epic synergistic focus and in the zone mood
200mg caffeine and 1.5g l-tyrosine would be great

        • +2

          my combo is:

          200mg caffeine
          1.5g l-tyrosine
          1.5 alcar
          4g citrulline malate
          4g beta alanine

the above tastes like ass with plain water. mix with something for some flavour. or skull it down like a man.

creatine and beta alanine can be taken anytime of the day. they are only used to saturate the muscles

    • Most muscletech products are complete garbage so most people stay away from them.

Whoever negged this comment I'd like to know why you think otherwise.

idonteven asked for opinions on this product and I was just stating my own opinion and the opinion of a vast majority of people who have come across muscletechs products in the past. Just search them up online and you'll see that they have a bad rep

        • I wasn't the person who negged you but your comment didn't provide much constructive criticism. Muscletech products are generally considered as decent quality. What they have a bad rep for is spending huge amounts of money on marketing and sponsorships in order to sell their products for grossly inflated prices compared to similar performing products. They are like the Nike or Ralph Lauren of supplements. At this price though this is an excellent value for money product with good quality ingredients.

It has some potential if you're 18

    DIY:
    • 100-200mg caffeine
    • 3.2 - 4g beta alanine
    • 6g-8g citrulline malate
    • 2g acytl l carnitine
    • 5g creatine

    • That could work too:

      $245.93 + 8.97 shipping (if split across 3 orders) for 200 serves.

i got a free sample of this preworkout once, fruit punch too, would never touch again/10 !

year it worked a bit and kept me buzzed, but so did jack3d and 1MR and craze, but the taste of neuro is just foul, couldn't eat after gym even !

  • Vitacost should really be placed on the wiki instead. Nothing special just ref codes everywhere

rubbish! i have grabbed some bargains there..quest bars, dymatize casein, promax bars. All were less than half of the cheapest option in aus

  • All these pre-made pre-workouts are rubbish. Just get some bulk AAKG powder, geranium powder and caffeine. They charge a shit load and these are usually the main active ingredients.

    • +1

if u do some research aakg is pretty useless . yes gives u a pump. that's about it.
citrulline malate or some nitrates are wayyyy better
citrulline gives a pump and endurance benefits
      4g citrulline is excellent

      • for AAKG to have any benefit, you need at least 10 grams per day
The amounts they put in pre workouts are 3 grams hence they are useless
Thats why i would recommend the Primaforce AAKG powder 250 grams from vitacost

  • will this product help with impotence?

    • no , get your doctor to test your testosterone level and if low start you on some Clomid , should boost your test levels in 2 - 6 weeks, otehrwise, youll need some type of monthly testosterone injections

  • thanks easternculture, ill pass that info onto my friend who is having the issue, from your experience if he requires the injections do they put the needle in his manhood?

    • Testosterone injections are usually done into the buttocks. If the problem is not related to your friend's testosterone levels it is most likely a blood vessel issue. This is treated with medications like Viagra or Cialis. If those medications are not enough this is when he would move on to injections to the manhood. Apparently it is not as painful as you'd think, they use an auto-injector similar to what diabetics use. Well that's what the doctors at the sexual health clinic I worked at used to tell patients anyway.

  • thanks donga100….your username is very appropriate to speak on the subject I noticed ;-)
