Cheapest I've seen so far for this TV (slightly cheaper than the Powerland eBay deal and $77 cheaper than JB / Good Guys, etc.)

Figure out how far you sit from the TV and use this viewing distance calculator. Holds up in my experience https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/by-size/size-to-distance-r…
Also, better price for 65 inch than jb-hifi : https://www.harveynorman.com.au/lg-65-inch-c3-4k-oled-evo-ai…
Cheaper at Powerland however on backorder https://www.powerland.com.au/lg-65-evo-c3-4k-smart-tv-with-s… or video pro https://www.videopro.com.au/product/lg-65-oled-evo-c3-4k-uhd…
$3.00 cheaper and free Delivery https://www.retravision.com.au/lg-42inch-c3-self-lit-oled-ev…
Retravision delivery is showing $55 for me, free is showing only for click and collect
I went to the GG site and it offered me $1338 when viewing the C3 product page. This was the auto match competitor price.
Additional gift cards bring the price down further.
yeah i got that price (1338) then used some cash back to bring it down further.
Been waiting for a good price on this one :) pulled the trigger on my first OLED.
me too. although i price beat with TGG got 1338 and use cash back to bring it down further. Looking forward to first ever OLED TV/Monitior
Definitely Looked into TGG … however Harvey's is across the road from me, and TGG had no stock locally. Easy choice :D
Hi Im sorry but I'm also keen on getting one. Did you use 'cashrewards' for the cashback after 1338? I thought you had to use cashrewards app to do the transaction…
i used cashreward website ->direct me to TGG -> brought at price beat price.
So come out to be roughly 1338 X 0.95 = 1271 (not 100% right since cashreward doesnt count GST, so slightly higher)
You can pay using AMEX or some credit card to get some points.
You can also do JB 1335 price then use some gift card discount to bring it further. Might be easier. Since like I have BUPA which give 5% off JB gift card. That is 1335X0.95=1268.
If you have the 15% off JB gift card then… it is quite cheap.
Does anyone know what the boot up screen is like on this TV? Looking at this for Bedroom to replace an old Kogan 32". Biggest annoyance with the Kogan is if it's turned on in the middle of night the white Kogan splash screen could was the dead. Looking for something a little friendlier and without going into a store just wanted to see if anyone knew
You can turn it off entirely
You really cant compare reputable manufactures with Kogan products, you defiantly won't have such an issue with the Sony & will be blown away by everything it offers & how it's functionality. Take the plunge, make the purchase & enjoy it, you deserve it & I'm certain you'll make good use of it for many years to come ;)
Is there a workaround for auto-dimming issue if using as a PC monitor?
Turning off "Energy Saver" should do the trick. You can also buy the LG Service menu remote on Amazon that gives you access to the service menu with extra tech features where you can change the auto-dim feature. Its $22 on Amazon Australia. I've heard that turning off the auto-dim feature decreases the life of your panel though.
I think people are saying the remote doesn't work with the C3, only C2
42 inch 4K is good for a PC monitor
Are you asking or saying it is :)
$1345 at JB
Was able to get it for $1300 in store
42" C3
I've got a 55'' now and wish to do another one for living room/bedroom
is 55 too big for a bedroom and should I get this one?
or get a 65/75 in for living room and move the 55 to the bedroom?
