I wonder what does this mean…

    Nipples: Steel

    • the thing that connects the spokes to the rim.

At $199 it does seem to be a lot cheaper than anywhere else (eBay or Amazon for example). Note that you can pick up from OO.com.au's warehouse in Alexandria NSW to save on postage, for those living close to Sydney South-Eastern suburbs.

Amazon reviews aren't great, although for $200 you can't really go wrong.

  • i think you'll be working fairly hard with that 3x6 gear set, the gear ratio graph would look like a step ladder =D

good price though, would buy this over the $100 kmart cheapies, this one is unlikely to break apart at high speeds, once you get to them

also noticed that this bike has downtube shifters, lots of fun to be had with those. It's a bit of a cheat though as the box weight says 12kg but that's without comparable shifters and would drop the weight by 500g+ going with this cheaper option, integrated shifters weigh more

  • This bike is rubbish… You'd be better off buying a good condition second hand CrMo roady.

  • Good value at $50 off, but why make the stupid RRP claim? $500 for a bike with a freewhweel? yeah, right :)

    • it's been cheaper. i remember commenting about the bike in the forums somewhere a while back.

  • The Reid Condor at $250 is only slightly more expensive and possibly better value

    • I'd much sooner "trust" that. My mate has one and hasn't had any trouble with it.

    • I was gonna post that. My mate has the Reid falco and its a much better bike then my Merida ride 91 that cost twice as much!! If I'd do it again I'd go reid

  • shifters are on the stem can be a pain. better off on the handlebar so you don't need to take your hands off.

  • thanks op bought one with free shipping
