Historical low for this gaming router ?
Price beat at Officeworks to bring it down to $808.61 and with current gift card deal should bring it down by 10% to ~$727.
Note: Amazon UK stock.

History no for this gaming router
HAHA updated!
my Catalyst 3750 dunks on this
Nuetered uk version
I never would have bought but what did they do?
This goes into a lot more detail than needed, but basically, UK hardware locks out frequency ranges that would otherwise be available to use here, meaning potentially shit wifi.
Thanks
No. You can change the firmware
@CoreJava: You sure about that? I have never tested it, so won't die on this hill, but it is frequently reported here that it is a hardware limitation and cannot be changed with firmware.
@CoreJava: Changing firmware eg. Merlin doesn't get around the hardware lock from the factory.
@CoreJava: These are hardware locked so even updating the firmware wont allow the other frequencies
Prob got a UK plug too lol.
Just get one from Officeworks
Huh? Thought they will do it as long as the product code (GTAXE16000) matches with what is on Amazon? Regardless of grey import or not.
I can only guess what Twix's comment was, but the rule of price matching is that it's up to the person you speak to. They can (and will) refuse to price match for any reason, including "the seller is Amazon UK".
You're right and OW should beat it. The employee still might deny it.
looking at this price tag
no, feels like I can take some latency in gaming again
A good buy if you can get some beatings from office works and have the money to waste.
lol those spikes. Can double up as a crown
UK routers should not be used in Australia due to their limited wireless performance
With all those antennas too, haha?
Would be fine from Officeworks.
I got the AX6000, recommended.
Wifi 7
Before most devices handle wifi 7, youll be fine for years with 6e. Even more when considering how slow nbn is in oz!
I'm still fine with ac68u, ethernet baby!, and seeing as wifi7 is around the corner, I wouldn't pay $850 for a 6e router.
does quad core help the speed
Is it a 5g modem router
No.
want a new spider router but my ac68u still going strong…
Use the ac68u as a mesh point and it won't feel like you are being wasteful ;)
But why
