Just visited ebay.com.au when I saw this offer shared as a banner at the top of the page saying I can "Score a year of eBay Plus for an extra $5". I am a monthly subscriber to eBay Plus.

eBay Plus Upgrade Offer Terms & Conditions

  • This offer commences at 10:00am AEDT on 16 November 2023 and is available for a limited time only, for as long as it is advertised on the eBay.com.au site (“Offer Period”). eBay reserves the right to cancel the offer at any time, as set out further below in these Terms and Conditions.

  • Eligibility. This offer is only available to Eligible Users. “Eligible Users” (or “You”) means users who have:

    (a) a paid eBay Plus monthly membership;
    (b) been invited to participate in the offer via email, eBay Message Centre and/or homepage banners on eBay.com.au; and
    (c) successfully signed up to the offer by clicking on the 'Upgrade Now' button shown in the email, eBay Message Centre communication, or homepage >banner on eBay.com.au.

    I seem to have accepted the offer, but can only see a subscribe button for some reason. Which just take me to the ebay plus page as i'm already signed up it doesn't do anything,

    I accepted the offer but it clearly says “Ends
    31/12/2023 11:59:59 PM” so … am I paying $5 for one month only? I am very confused.

      Same thing for me, no idea. Did you learn anything new about this? Is it 12 months or just till the end of this year? Could be a bug.

      Automatically via PayPal

      Must cancel Automatic DD there :).

      Paid till end 12 Dec 2024.

    They took my monthly payment on Friday and then a few hours later they automatically took another $5 and upgraded it to a years membership. I had no idea what was going on until I saw that my expiry date is now 7/12/24.
