Kids have fifa21, used to play it quite a bit but not anymore. Would this be a good gift, or just more of the same?
It has the Matildas - so that's a significant difference imo
For Switch it's quite an improvement. All the game modes that are in the next gen games and an improved engine. As far as gameplay goes, its still a soccer game so depends why your kids lost interest.
Gets mixed reviews for Switch saying that whilst it's definitely better than the Legacy Editions (19, 20, 21, 22, 23), but only slightly… and still falls way behind versions on other gaming platforms.
I'm kind of tempted… But I only paid $9 just a few months ago for Fifa23. 🤷♂️

This is Fifa. EA didnt renew their license agreement with FIFA (the organisation) so they cant use the Fifa name moving forward.
is this a legacy game just with refreshed teams/players/logos or it's an true new version with latest game engine?
New gaming engine. But Switch version apparently still nowhere near as good as other platforms.
