    Shame no 23 1.4

no love for the 18mm 1.4 too :(

  • Do these guys price match?
If so would it be possible to get the 1300$ cashback on price matched item?

    • Can't see why not as you get the money paid into your account by Fuji, and all they want to see is a copy of the receipt; they're not bothered what you paid.
It's 3+ years ago but I ended paying just $499 for a $1,000 XF 14mm f2.8 R Ultra Wide-Angle lens because Fuji gave back $350 and the camera shop had their own separate cashback promotion running at the same time and paid me back another $150; looks like same lens is now around $1250 new.

    • Thanks for adding Scoobth

  • Typically these deals work well with DigiDirect eBay sales!

Agreed. Forget what retail was as I bought my 50-140 before inflation but I stacked the following:
      - Digidirect sale
      - Fuji cashback promotion
      - Tourist refund scheme since I was moving overseas at the time.

Ended up getting it for $1100 once all was said and done.

The 100-400 with $700 off doesn't surprise me. The Sigma 100-400 Contemporary (full frame and popular on Sony FE) is lighter and more modern.

Within the Fuji world people are either going 70-300 and stacking a teleconverter or the 150-600, people are understandably overlooking the 100-400 nowadays. Doesn't detract from the fact that the 100-400 is still a good lens but a little less relevant in the market compared to when it launched.

My pick of the bunch would be the 150-600 but I'm not a birder, nor am I going on a safari to justify ownership.

The 16, 80 and 90mm have been out long enough that you can get them much cheaper second hand. Yes yes, I know it isn't new with warranty etc…
Besides auto-focus stacking on newer bodies the Loawa 65mm macro is more popular in the Fuji X community than the 80mm macro nowadays.

The 16-120 is hit and miss since people not using it for videography may not like the electric zoom of the lens, it's more for video.

The 8-16mm having as hefty cashback doesn't surprise me either. Unless you really want 8mm you can get the new Sigma 10-18mm 2.8 which is smaller and lighter and still have $$$ left over to buy the Fuji 8mm prime if you seriously need that wide. The 8-16mm is an absolute beast in terms of weight and whilst good at launch has a lot of competitors nowadays that supersede its use case, it also can't run filters from memory.

Besides my Laowa macro all my other lenses are Fuji. Love the aperture rings and XF quality. I've been from 35mm manual focus Nikon F3 with exotic 1.4 glass, to Nikon DSLR, Mamiya 7 medium format film to Leica M11 with a Summilux and now settled on Fuji and think it's a great system.

If you're not earing money and enjoy photography as a hobby they have a body and lens for everyone. Also I haven't had issues with .RAF (Fuji's RAW) on Lightroom like people reported in the early years, besides film simsulation recipes are so fun!

  • I think the cashback for XF200 is only for the one packaged with the 1.4X.

  • Makes the GFX50Sii tempting proposition but the body is a little lacklustre (slow AF), they really make you want to spend more for the 100S

  • does anyone know when does the gf lens ht the deep sales

Pair this with some black friday sales.

The 150-600 can be had for under $2100 after sale/cashback. Tempting!

    I have acquired the 100-200 for $2019 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎
