It's not durable. I have had my one bag in twice for repairs after two trips. Mind you other bags with the same system seem to be far more durable.
Still a dumb design. I have an old victorinox bag with a loop on the zips where I can just put any TSA lock I want. It can’t fail
The lock on my Juno 1 has held up after 9 years, no problems.
The top handle on the otherhand just ripped off.
No TSA approved lock is going to stop a thief at all anyway.
I was talking about durability, not security
My handle also absolutely obliterated itself while I was walking out the rear stairs of a plane once lol. I hit up Antler and they sent me two more free of charge. Not sure if that would still be the case, but it would be worth an ask.
I also love the lock system as well - mines been flawless for probably about as long on many, many trips.
This one actually has a larger capacity than the soft case even though it is shorter in height. Interesting.

Yeah that seems odd, have Antler included in the volumes being able to expand the soft case by unzipping the outside?
I was actually looking at these yesterday. You can get black or navy direct through Antlers website with free delivery for $152 if you sign up.
Does anyone have any feedback on this suitcase? I am after a large and price seemed ok? Only looked at this and one other at the shops on the weekend.
Can anyone recommend any good hard suitcases if it’s not this one?I have a Juno 2 in Navy medium, and an Antler Lincoln in large (same exterior style, so I suspect it's essentially the Juno 3).
The Juno 2 has held up to light usage just fine, never an issue. The Lincoln has just survived an extended trip to Japan, via Phillipines, and aside from some scratches on the exterior, it works as good as it did when I bought it.
I have family that have owned a set of the Juno 1 for many many years, and are only replacing it now as their family has grown.Did you get 20% off? I got "Unable to apply welcome discount on sets and sale products - already discounted"
isnt 4.2kgs over-weight?
Dont know much about the luggage bag weights just enquiring.its not cabin luggage. The cabin luggage version is 2.5kg (usually max 7kg is the limit)
dammit! It's cheaper than mine
Any better quality alternatives around the same price?
These were the best suitcases I bought - I had the whole range until I upgraded to more recent Antler models - but this original Juno went on numerous overseas trips with me over a few years without anything being damaged or breaking - I love them!
It seems Antler have started making them again as for a while (when I had to settle for other Antler suitcases), you couldn't find these original Juno cases anywhere.
That lock system just bugs me. It doesn’t look durable at all. Why can’t they just make it like a normal zip that you close with your own lock?
