The Sydney Flames have their first standalone game of the season at the Quaycentre tomorrow (Wednesday) night. The Flames want as much support at the game as possible so have offered a limited number of complimentary tickets which are available on a first-in first-served basis.

Game details: Sydney Flames v UC Capitals 6.45pm Wednesday at Quaycentre, Sydney Olympic Park. The Flames currently have 3 Opals in their squad including Cayla George, Loz Nicholson and Tess Madgen plus two US imports, Didi Richards and Paige Bradley. They currently have a one-win, two-loss record while the UC Capitals have lost their opening two games of the season.

Flames games mix elite-level women's basketball with all the fun of a Kings game with lots of music, Harvey Norman pom poms, a DJ, court announcer Eric Stephens, free face-painting and giveaways. Plus you'll be able to meet the players after the game and get your complimentary poster signed.

  You all here looking for bargains and when you get 1 , You're all knocking it. I'm going to the game I'm taking my 3 kids And I'm sure if we get in the spirit of it we ll have a great time. Seemed to recall there wasn't too many people watching the matildas until very Recently.
