Great deal on these 150mm cobras
I use them at work because they're very easy to keep in work pockets but they open up over 30mm, large enough for anything that you happen to come across.

sad, no Prime
Title says 150mm, option selection & Description says 220mm.
Regular Price Was: $29.94
thanks OP, got one to use on my peepee
Great price
Bought 250mm around two weeks ago for $25.59
i must be missing something these were - KNIPEX Alligator Water Pump Pliers (250 mm) 88 02 250 — $28.72 - end of october 2023 pricing
so the $2.88 difference i get the 150mm..? not much of a discount in my opinion
Also, Cobra is not the same product as Alligator.
thanks captain obvious! i better go to spec savers
I always thought that the thumbnail reminds me of something
Description says 220mm, if it arrives as 150mm, you might try calling Amazon and ask for a refund without sending the item back to Germany, may not work but worth a try, I would take a screenshot lol
Is that a cobra in your pocket?
Nah mate just happy to see you
Buy now, think if I need it later.
You will get the 150mm as per the item code.
Do you know if a multi grip with protective jaws will help opening a smooth tap bonnet/base cover?
I tried with a $7 strap wrench from bunnings, but it keeps slipping off the base. These pliers with the jaws or any other similar cobra style from bunnings would definitely grip better than the strap wrench.
I would advise using a cloth to minimize the teeth marks left behind though.
It depends on the working space as with both the knipex pliers and cobra plier are a good pair to have in the kit.
I find myself using the 150 more than the 180 unless for bigger tasks and rarely needing anything bigger around the home.
Wrap rubber around it, call in to a motorbike, push bike or car tyre shop and get a blown innertube.
How does this compare to this: https://www.bunnings.com.au/trojan-250mm-multigrip-plier_p01…
I actually have this in garage and may have used it once in my lifetime on an outside pipe.
Good to have but for home use won't need for most things way too big and overkill if you have no room to work with
Quality wise knipex is definitely superior in quality.
I would recommend everyone to start on the cheaper price products first for the off hand jobs and only upgrade to other brands like knipex if there's a sale like this or working with these particular tools regularly
I do on the odd occasion need pliers and have in the past borrowed from my neighbour. Are these Knipex a good one to have, or an overkill?
For home use and its small size i would buy it for this price to keep given you dont have a similar one already
Pair this with what you linked above for the odd jobs and you definitely have all cobra style pliers you need for 95% of things around the house without going overboard.
If you look after your tools well knipex is buy once for life. Hope this helps
150 > 125
I got these last time. They are quite small.
