    I'm in a position where I have to upgrade from my s7 lol, dont need or can afford the latest s23 series etc, would this be a sensible upgrade? Reviews are average :)

      All of the A-series are quite average when reviewed against their similarly priced competitors (at their standard RRP pricing), but compared to an S7 it'll be a major upgrade.

          i say get it…
          its heaps faster than an s7….

          i have an s23u and when i use my mum's A34 i'm impressed with how fluid the screen/phone is and especially considering its 1/4 the price…

          i also had an s7 edge… s10 plus > note10 > s23u

    This looks tempting, hope black friday this will go below $350, my wife Note 5 gave me a scare yesterday and thought the battery total dead, but after changing cable and move the charger to another power point, it started charging again, back to normal, time to buy a spare replacement phone I guess.

      Australian stock Samsung phones do not have dual SIM. You'll need to purchase an international model if you require 2 physical sim slots.

      I bought this phone last month in Singapore. The 2nd SIM slot is a hybrid slot for either nano SIM or SD card.

        No surprise. So typical of them to claim dual sim and also support micro SD card but in reality, only support one and not both.

          This is still better than claiming dual sim with one being eSIM. So this A34 with dual nano sim plus esim isa 3ple sim support.

    I've been hunting around for a 7" tablet that'll get more updates than the average lenovo, might bite the bullet and grab this instead, with the screen and battery life it looks pretty good.

    My 2c on this phone. Battery life and screen are great and games seem to run alright.

    My only issues are the lack of e-sim (the manual seemed to suggest it was possible but couldn't find how) and there is no video out (can't connect a usb-c/HDMI cable).

    I would pay a little less though 300-350$
