The cheapest UST projector I have seen. Yes, it's only 1080p but that's already a good price for a normal front projection let along UST.

Brightness is 800 ANSI lumen, should be adequate for any environment with low ambient light considering its short throw, but better if fully dark. DLP should have better contrast than LCD.

800 lumens is very low for a regular throw projector. For a UST it is even worse.

  • Is there anything else better than this in the budget projector range

    • A pre owned or refurbed projector is the best option in this price range. If you don't need a UST an entry level Epson TW5600 is a good one that was quite popular and $950 to $1150 new and might be picked up for 500 to 700 used. They are up to about 2500 lumens from memory. A new lamp is only about $80 if needed.

      • Found a brand new one for $700. Wondering whats the drawback of a non-UST projector? New to this scene so not sure what to prioritise
