  Is it an old fashioned photo album (where you stick normal photos in it) or is it where you upload your photos and they all get printed onto the pages of the book?

    right on mate!

    I had a look because I was tempted by the price, but very soon after gave up.
    Have a look at the Harvey Norman one (just wait for it to go on sale).
    Much better book and calender design there.
    Even though it is Harvey Norman :(.

      If you were really keen you could design all the pages in photoshop or something and upload them as an image per page, so you won't be restricted by the software that is provided. I've had worse really - that 123 cheese scoopon deal has the most horrible photobook software ever and it's almost a 200MB mandatory download!
