They are low cost, yes, but I had a good experience flying Cebu Pacific - the planes were new, the drinks on board were cheap and it was an absolute bargain

Anything that Manila has that is worth going to, compared to say Bali which is about the same price
Manila has nothing - use it to go elsewhere i.e. other islands.
Yeah i'd mainly be using Manila as a hub to visit Cebu, Palawan etc.
Tourists can go on boats to the West Philippine Sea to witness first hand how Chinese ships bully Filipino boats inside the Philippines' exclusive economic zone.
