    Can’t afford that T T.

Firstly 170g should not be considered a 'share pack'. Secondly no Mexicana or Nacho Cheese is a bummer. Thanks though OP.

They just go through the shrinkflation cycles:
200g starting pack size at $x
      200g increases to $x +10%
      190g at $x +10%
Either shrink or add more cost repeat till…

Cant shrink anymore so introduce NEW 200g or 220g sharepack (with another price increase of course)

      • 150g is the old 175g too I've noticed.
RRP is ridiculous for most crisps now, surely most people only buy when half price.

How can they deliver this to your door every Monday for 2$ and make a profit

    • +1

I think when we consider Prime Subscription + Selling Fee + Inventory Fee etc then they make profits. Maybe not through this particular product deal but they are getting one most important thing done. Getting more and more customers + discounts goes to tax deduction i think. Amazon is famous for paying low to no taxes.

  • Never Mexicana or Flaming Hot :(

Thanks OP. We like to have some of these in the cupboard for nachos.

Has anybody ever stopped to think if we should be getting a delivery for a packet of chips? Think about if everybody did that for just one or two items.
A weekly shop delivered, no problem - but a packet of doritos for next-day delivery seems a bit excessive and damaging to the Earth.

I'm sure they're shipped in a box too lol, keeps the wheels turning in many industries.

      • Last week, my Twisties share pack order arrived in a padded Amazon bag. I still haven’t opened it and some of the Twisties inside the packet may have been crushed.

Items like these Should definitely be a box, easily crushed.

    • Yep, it’s too far
