  • How much is the delivery?

  • $19.00 to sydney.

Wow it says "In stock - dispatch within 5 day" is it really the case or will it be like a 2 week + waiting time?

    • $718 delievered is very tempting

    • It should be fairly genuine, unless they want to have a repeat of the 1 month (minimum) delay on the iPhone 5.

$720 is pretty cheap for this flagship-ish phone.

      • +1

This phone is not "flagship-ish" it is a flagship phone. The latest feature set of stuff that have included in the UX is awesome, with multi windowing etc…

Samsung have put their best efforts behind this handset. The fact that it is making GS3 owners drool means that it is their flagship phone whether they realise it or not!!!

Yup I am a GS3 owner - who feels tinges of regret.

        • Why not put the S3 on ebay and trade up to the Note2 ?

Shouldnt be that much price diff in the end ?

  • Looks a good deal i guess as of now, very tempting indeed

  • +3

Wish I waited for this instead of jumping on the Galaxy S3 bandwagon. Bigger screen ftw.

    • Trade up!

  • watch the Note come down now… that the Note II has arrived!

    • Its gone down to $439 now

  • +2

I would personally wait till the LTE/4G version is out.

  • So this isn't a 4g version of the note 2? So they are going to release 2 versions again? Also if I was to purchase with kogan would I get a Australian invoice so I can claim tax back when I go oversea with the 30days?

    • I think the appeal of grey imports is that they are cheaper because you don't pay GST on them.
So there is no GST paid on Kogan products.
      Hence no claim.

      • +1

I am not sure about the phones and tablets, but the camera I bought from Kogan has GST charged on the invoice.

Can anyone confirm on that ?

      • You still pay kogan GST, the only difference is they source them cheaper overseas.

  • so just to clarify again, this current version ISNT 4g compatible in Australia?

    • +4

      This version isn't 4G anywhere.

  • Come on 4g versions of the S3 and Note II. I figure this will be the right time to buy as expect further price drops. Until networks improve over the next few years I see little benefit of 4g but hoping to save more on the 3G models

  • anyone ordered from kogan?

    • Yes my S3. Very quick postage, I got it 5 days after ordering it.

    • Placed an order for a white version yesterday (04/05/2012) at $698, used my 28 Degrees card so if a price drop occurs within the next 6 months hopefully "Shoppers Protection" will reimburse me the difference.

Recieved email from Kogan stating the phone will be dispatched on the 11/05/2012

  • did you mean will dispatch on 11/Oct/2012 using 3-7days EMS? its dropped price again so this will be a good test of the 28degrees card. I was gonna use my CBA Gold credit card which gives an extra years of warranty on top, but cos it's from kogan, they won't honour it.
Anyways, Damn kogan! 6 days of processing the order! handtec will have the phone at your door step before kogan even starts to ship/ generate a tracking number. Have you asked them why is there such a long processing period?
