      According to the description:

      Transmission rate: 480Mbps

      Basically USB 2.0 Speed. These are more charging cable than data cables.

      The general rule is that if it's a cable designed mainly for charging, then the data transfer speed will generally be a maximum of 480Mbps (i.e. USB 2.0 speeds). High speed data/monitor cables (which can also do charging) cost much more than charging cables.

    I'm looking for a soft and flexible braided cable like the one that came with my Macbook.
    I had multiple of these specific Baseus cables but they are kinda rough and not that flexible.
    Any suggestions?

      Same. Mrs initially questioned my purchase and then we needed some charging cables longer than the ones that came with our phones. She couldn't be happier with these cables. Might get some more as back ups while they're cheap.

      I blame the USB-IF for making USB-C confusing.. They could have called this USB-C3 or something. Even more confusing with alternate modes.

    Micro-USB (Double-sided) to USB-A is new to me. Will this work for single sided micro usb devices, like ps4 controller and old samsung tablets?

      Yep, should work on standard Micro-USB.

      Double-sided just allow you to plug without checking the direction.

    Does Not MFI mean they are OK for charging and not guaranteed for data or does Apple's MFI certification impact charging, too?

      The data rate on these is poor. They will transfer data, but at USB2 speeds.
