I want to get a student ID that'll give me discounts, like Adobe CC. Did web development free this year with Tafe but it didn't teach me anything I already didn't know, besides the intro to SQL. But the student discounts saved me probably a thousand on Adobe CC alone. So I want to do it again next year, preferably a course that's useful to know, but also is easy and doesn't take up much time. Actually would rather it is useful and not just some rubbish I'll never actually use. I did the UTAS applied design this year too which took up a lot more time than the 1-2 hour a week quoted by OP when he posted that deal…
Any Free Full Time Courses for 2024?

Not sure how useful that would be. But has to be better than dementia care…
Dementia care might prove to be more useful than you think :(
True. Might look at Programming though https://www.tafesa.edu.au/courses/fee-free-tafe-courses Pretty sure I already done some of the topics in web dev, so maybe I can submit the same assessments š
These courses costs the government (read : taxpayers) money.
Signing up for a course and not doing it at all just for the discounts is wasteful.
I always do it. I've never started a study I didn't finish, even if I thought it was useless. The things I've studied recently are things I mostly already knew through experience though. I should have chosen things that would actually challenge me. But then again I like the easy route. And it's nice to brush up on some self taught skills, even seeing things taught wrong or outdated sharpens the mind a little when you think about how much things have changed since some of these courses were first put together many years ago.
