Is It Worth Waiting till Black Friday to Buy MacBook?

I am planning to buy a new MacBook (M2) - Currently looking at Mwave selling Macbook Air M2 16/512 for 2k3

I wonder if it's worth waiting till Black Friday. Was there any hot deal for Macbook last year?

AOC + discounted Apple gift cards has been the best way to get a MacBook in my experience. Other than FB Marketplace/Gumtree if they have proof of purchase and it's sealed

No, it is not worth it. AOC is in general the lowest price.

If you can wait till Jan/Feb Apple usually have some back-to-school offers where in the past they bundled AirPods for free

Been a lot of sales on Apple lately so wouldn't be surprised if another comes up at JB/Officeworks

If you need one now, buy the Apple giftcards from Woolies under the current 20x points promotion (effectively 10% off) and pricematch mwave at Apple. Did the same not long ago

Yes, worth waiting. Last year MacBook airs received a $240 gift card
Pros $400
If there is a repeat it will be worth buying via education MacBook Pro m3 as it costs $2799 (512gb/16) but you might get $400 gift card. Also cash rewards usually bumped to up $100
Hence it’ll cost $2300 after cashbacks.
Buy Apple gift cards with extra points (flybuys atm) add to your account to purchase when ready.
