  • Does the $30 off first order work?

    • +2

New customers will get $30 off with DD30

      • Wow, Cheers! the coupons stack, so $69 delivered.

    • +1

So works out to be $5.75 per bottle! lol

      • +1

Now the bottles are worth 10c, so $5.65/bt! then possibly 5.5% CR tracked at $3.51

  • According to Fine Wine Concierge, Cabernet Sauvignon will keep for between 7-10 years.

    • I wouldn't be taking wine advice from Fine Wine Concierge https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/the-wine-concierge

    • Yeah, they made that one up.

I cracked opened a Jacobs Creek Reserve 2008 cabsav last weekend, bloody delicious! Yering Station 2000 cabsav last birthday…even better.

Some vintages start to peak at 7yr+ (personally I try not to drink them under 5yrs).

This wine probably won't have the traditional strong CabSav flavour at this price. It'll probably be softer like a Cab-Merlot.

  • Are these ok to take to parties with wine lovers? Or will I get uninvited to the next party? Genuine question, I don't drink much myself, just a social one glass drinker.

100% it a very crowd friendly style, with soft smooth tannins

  • Thanks OP, just purchased.

Coupons can’t be stacked, but I used DD30 as new user and the 5.6% CashRewards rebate.

Total came to 69$ + 9$ shipping to VIC and cash back of $3.51.

That turned the cost per bottle to $6.2πŸ₯³

    It's arrived and it is <drum roll>

    Reschke reserve cabernet sauvignon 2014

    • That's not bad for the price. Normally go for about $20 P/b on vinomofo

  • Would this be better? I'm going by 95 points (vs 94) and 76% off (vs 67%)

    • It really depends if you like aged Cabernet or Barossa Shiraz.

In saying that the Baross Shiraz is our biggest selling wine to date

      • Any comments on which is a better crowd pleaser?

        • The Barossa is by far the biggest seller/crowd pleaser
