  My BlueAnt broke precisely a week after the expiry of the warranty. They refused to fix it. I understand they refused within their right. So I used my right to never buy BlueAnt again.

    If it is a week or a few months, they should still fix it.
    If it is a few years than understandable.

        You can probably argue a "grace period" or something, certain items are meant to last at least a certain period (can be longer than 12 months), but normally it is up to the company's good will.

        Have a look at the example. I know a few people have exercised this at my work place and got their tools fixed 2-5 after the warranty expired. (I work in Building industry.)

    A decent company stads by its products… a few days, or even weeks outside warranty is not acceptable failure.
