We are flying into Manila at 5 am and will be flying out in the early afternoon.
Does anyone know of a hotel right on one of the express bus lines from the airport? Not expensive. Just something clean to rest for a while.
There is a transit hotel at the airport, but it is for fixed blocks of time that won’t suit us.

Not sure why you got downvoted for that, I can see 10 hotels within walking distance from airport for under $100aud I’m using your method.
People don't like the true comments here. I use that method all the time to find hotels near train lines bus lines etc.
When in Manila I book a Red Planet. Not sure they will check you in at 6am though.

Almost everyone books a GRAB using the grab app using the airports wifi. Very easy. Very cheap.

Be wary of Manilla traffic. It took us 30min to travel 4km in a car going into the airport.
Indeed. Tell the grab guy you are happy to take the (Estrella) flyover.
Do check which terminal you're flying out from because Manila airport has two international terminals (used to be three)
