The V2 Stealth Magnet are double the price.
Nope - though they are a little different sonically - and you can go even cheaper if you're happy to import via Taobao with no warranty.
As opposed to the comprehensive warranty you are getting with Ali express?
Link please :-)
Thanks Jasswolf
I have a old pair of audio technica ATH-M50,, would these produce better sound with dac/amp?
Yes
Ohyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
From ASR:
"Add a bit of salt and pepper in the form of bass boost and lower treble energy and you are in business with a very high fidelity headphone."hi thyme - pretty sure that review was for the v2 version - ie the stealth magnet version which costs more
Thanks for letting me know, my bad for not checking before posting. Cheers!
Anyone recommend a decent (but well priced) replacement cable for these?
Well priced is subjective, so I'll just leave this here, but may be a bit more expensive than you're looking for.
I have nothing but good things to say about hart cables, they wont make your headphones sound better (no cable will {besides maybe a balanced cable but only if you're having issues that a balanced cable/stack will fix})

They are American, so will need to be imported and price isn't FANTASTIC but they are well built and Hart customer support is fantastic.
I personally buy quality, well made, products. But spending nearly the same amount of money on a cable as the whole set of cans seems…excessive 😕
I'm after a good cable for the focal that came on sale a while back, but can't find anything that isn't brandless Ali stuff, or $100…
Yeah, certainly not an unreasonable perspective to take.
Hart should likely have what you're after regardless.
If you got the focal elegia, then it's the same cable connections for the He400se. I have both cans.
Im fine with the elegia cable. Only problem is that the casing around the 3.5mm connection on the elegia cable doesn't allow it to fit into HE400
Have looked into hart before. I have the elegia and the he400. Both use the same cable so atleast the one cable would service both.
Last cable I purchased was a NewFantasia one from Amazon. It only lasted about 6months before it intermittently stopped working. So I might need to cough up for the hart cable.
Actually seems worth it when I consider how wasteful the NewFantasia one was
Do you need an amp to run these. Could you plug them into ps5?
No you don't need an amp, they are 25ohm impedance so very very very VERY easy to drive, PS5 SHOULD be fine (I haven't personally tried but I don't see any reason why not)
Dunno about the PS5 but running out of a phone I needed a portable headphone amp. They sound like garbage from the phone port but they are excellent with a bit more power.
They are excellent headphones and am very happy withh mine (mine are maybe 6 years old?)
To anyone considering these I highly recommend this $1 and easy mod.

Thanks OP, bought.
Great timing, been looking at replacing my OLD Arctis 7s and wanted to try the non-gaming headset route.
Worth the price difference for V2 Stealth Magnet over the V1 Bilateral Magnet?
