Handy little tool. Looks to be the cheapest ever according to camelcamelcamel.

I got one but it's on the smaller side
It's how you use it that matters
Yes you are right if it was bigger I would have trouble in tighter spaces.
180mm is perfect size for pliers wrench or cobras
is it worth spending this much on this for DIY automotive jobs?
i think you are better off doubling your budget and buying a 3/8 (all-rounder sized) socket set for that… something like 7-21mm range of size
I think the 125 in this deal would be too small for that. And frankly too small for pretty much anything.
Can be tough for automotive use as some bolts are in locations where a socket set is better suited.
No. Get an automotive socket set instead. There are decent ones around that price.
I already have these but find that cheap vice grips or even a shifter are usually just as good.
The right sized spanner (or socket) is always better.
Why is this a deal when you can get the same kind of tool for under $10 at Bunnings?
You can find pliers like this for $10?
Id love to see it.
I think you might be thinking of generic grip pliers.
because they arnt knipex. its like comparing coke to cola
Why is this reply to this deal a thing when you can not post it and the world would be a better place?
I bought one of these many many years ago. I paid 3 times this much and I probably would pay that much again today if I had to.
These have been one of the best tools I've ever purchased. I think everyone should have this in their toolbox. It's replaced so many other tools for me for general use.
- They are invaluable in getting into spaces other tools can't.
- They have a firmer and more secure grip and hold than other tools.
- They are tiny enough to pocket.
- You can use one tool to deal with multiple different sized things without switching constantly.
Hobbyist use is a great use case for these, working with 3D printers or RC stuff, doing one off car jobs, general stuff around the house that pops up. I use these for everything nowadays except situations where you need to repeatedly work with the same size bolt/nut/screw in which case you should just get the right sized tool for it.
Can't recommend them enough. I think these are one of those things that'll still be around my toolbox 30 years later.
I'm guessing it is OOS on Amazon DE, the link is taking me to a listing for Amazon UK for $74.82.

Thank you, nabbed one before OOS
