Best Way to Access Internet in NZ?

I will be going away to NZ for 1 week.

What would be best way to access internet on the mobile? Currently I use on Boost Mobile plan.

International roaming pack, that's what I did for my week in NZ in the south island.

Also:

1) Pre download google maps for known routes/areas
2) Be aware that there are black spots for connectivity
3) Everything in NZ is very far apart, don't do what I did and run the car on empty for 70km and test out how much fuel is left after 0
