Hi,
We don't have a car and use Sydney's public transport (which is indeed fantastic and sufficient for our need) to commute. Few weeks back, I had to take my 1 year old kid to hospital due to an emergency. The hospital is inaccessible by public transport and Uber did not take our booking because of lack of baby seat. Luckily a kind hearted gentleman (with a baby seat in his car)gave us lift.
Please help how I can book a cab with baby seat. (Even if it's expensive cab, it won't really matter in times of emergency).
Thanks
Come on OP, this took 60 seconds to google.

Taxis do not require baby seats - except in NSW!
But even there, a 1yo can travel in the back seat of the taxi. Uber does not have the same exemption.
Only under 12 months do you need a child restraint in taxi. You order one from the taxi company, but it probably needs to be in advance.
