This post was inspired by the IE900 deal here
I have not tried the IE900 myself, but the IE600 at this price-point, represents great value for anyone wanting to go down the audiophile rabbit-hole.

The IE600 from Sennheiser embodies the audiophile passion for quality with meticulous craftsmanship and exquisitely neutral sound. For exceptional lifetime durability and a unique premium aesthetic, the IE600 features 3D printed housings made from ZR01 amorphous zirconium for triple the hardness and bend resistance of steel. Its dual resonator chambers eliminate masking resonances for exceptional fidelity, while the TrueResponse transducers ensure incredible tonally neutral, intimate, true-to-life voicing and impactful bass response.

      I haven't heard the IE900 (yet),
but I really like the IE600 with
its 'boomy' bass and nice treble extension.

The mid-range is not as resolving as other IEMs, though.

What I like about the IE600 is the solid build quality,
and that it's comfortable to wear as it's light-weight.

I wish the cable had a modular end-points,
so that I can switch between 3.5mm and 4.4mm
instead of changing the whole cable altogether.

    • I split a pair with one of the guys in the chat, gona see if he's keen on splitting one of these too.

Are we entering a new era of IEM bargona?

I have just discovered IEMs for DJing and I think my neighbours are going to be grateful because instead of blasting the same tunes all day I'm doing it all in my headphones now.

    Anyone got some tips for:

1 increasing cable length. Most IEMs are way to short for DJing and you guys getting dance braided IEM cables or 10 dollar extensions from Bunnings?

    1. Rehabbing my ear holes, I tend to use the bigger silicone ear bits to get a better seal so they isolate better but it feels like Shaq railed a few Viagra and pounded my ear holes. Like my hearing is not swore but my orifice is…

Which IEM do you use ?

What did you use before IEMs ?

I mean, the HD-25 are the standard, right ?
      ( I have a pair of HD-25 myself )

      1 increasing cable length.

You can buy custom-made cables, from AliEx,
where they'll make it to the length you want.

Then again, just pick up the extension from Bunnings or JayCar, etc.
