The promotion is actually gauranteed until the expiry date stated in the app so you didn't had to rush. Whats interesting is that the value of the free items contributes towards that $40 min so you can actually get $40-50 of stuff for $0.
@Captain Hindsight: Deal is out of stock because the max number of redemptions for that code have been reached, you had already redeemed it when you entered the code into your account (using it is not redeeming as its been redeemed already), it becomes tied to your account.
Deal mentions in description "14 days expiry from activation." This $30 off $40 offer also existed less than a month ago (there were over 10 codes for it prior as some found new ones, each code has a max number of redemptions, once you redeem it you have 14 days to use it)
Yes but I think they stuffed up the checkout code so might be fixed eventually. Mine shows $18 away from saving $30 browsing but with a free curry in the cart I can get the $30 anyway

Yeah, its the same "promotion" that was frequently posted here - you can only redeem it once even if you use different codes (I don't recall it being targeted, you just need Uber One and never have used this offer)

Actually, you cannot lose it after redeeming it (unless you wait until after the expiry date stated for your coupon in the app). Once you redeem it, its guaranteed essentially.

Sweet, combined it with an offer of free $18 meal when spend more than $20, total for like $58 of food including fees and delivery was about $4.
How was it $4 when you need to spend at least $10 out of pocket?
Because the free $18 meal was included in the total, so minus $18 for the free meal, then minus $30 with this coupon. I probably could have gotten it to $0 total if I wanted.
