I am in Melbourne. I ride the Lime scooters no problem, and they are comfy. Where could I buy an equivalent? I have found these which look cool, has anyone had any experience with them or similar? here

The limitation of the Big Wheel is it's not portable (32kg), can't multi-modeI'm not too worried about portability, I live in the docklands and it would be for short trips, or fun rides. I just like cruising around on them, and I find them better than bikes for my use. But those you posted do look quite good.

Be aware that the larger scooters can be quite powerful.
When (not if) you come off, a larger man is going to hit the road harder, break more, and have a longer road to recovery. Take care.I would actually prefer to have the power, but yeah 20kmh is fast enough for these things. I will fall off for sure, but I figure I will fall off a bike eventually also. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it lol.
