    • Also just Tesla for me :/

    • In the past I received two fractional AAPL shares.

Rest have been Tesla, from my own sign up and 3 referrals.

  • Ooh I got a click, here's hoping that person went through with setup🤞

  • I finally has clicks on my ozb referral however it did not registered as my referral in webull :(

not sure if it has anything to do with the referal URL keep changing ?

If you open webull every once in a while and copy referral link, it seems keep changing

    • A clikc is a click, the person has to register and signup, if you click on a referral link it will appear on that persons ozbargin but no signup

    • I originally had 7 clicks and no signups on a previous webull ozbargin promo

    • It happens. People click to have a look and either come back later or don’t proceed. Case in point with my DoorDash referral link that’s had 12 clicks but 0 referral credits. Stay hopeful :)

    • I've had 5 people sign up and 4 of them never completed the verification stage. Many people seem to get cold feet at the idea of providing ID.

19x Tesla and 1xAmazon so far. I expected Tesla only but seems there is still an low chance for better…

  • Done. How long do they take to approve your account?

  • 20mins to 24hrs

  • Approved and funded $1. How long till you see the shares in your account?

Also using the desktop version, can't seem to find the referral link in my account.

    • Go to rewards to claim, generally credited in a week

      • Thanks. Had to download the app. It's all there. Got 5x $5.20 tesla…

    • How long did it take for the $1 hit your account? My $0.01 hasn’t arrived and it’s been nearly 5 hours.

    • What acct details did you use for deposit?

Struggling to find BSB - Found acc ok 491122492

  • Dont withdrawal or sell for 30 days, get 10 more

  • I wonder why Webull and Moomoo both have the almost exact same promotion with each other at the same time with the same curious condition of hold x amount of money for x amount of time?

Do you think the billionaires behind them have some sort of bet going between them that who ever gets the most customers/raises the most money will get x amount of money?

    • webull is trying to break into australian market … they are just copying moomoo

moomoo are trying to break into every market , saw they just create japan and canada markets

    • Smells like….ponzi. Hit a capital target by x but dont have to cash out, thats a future liability.

      • +1

Could also be considered as customer acquisition costs. Pretty expensive but hey, they've got all that vc money to splash around

        • -1

They've got ccp money to farm dumb westerners details.

          • @Ademos: This is a worry. What can/do they do with our details?

            • -2

@Bladeyyy21: To you? Maybe nothing. To the foreign student that rents from you in 10 years? When you change your mind and your kid runs for office in 20 but had TikTok on their phone while they were sending all those dickpics at 17?

You never know how/when/why data may be used against you.

  • Approved within a few minutes. 5 x 5.20 Tesla in transit. Lucky draw for the other 10 in 30 days (prob 9 tesla and 1 tesla)

    • +1

Your leaving it here? They are unique?

    • +1

Mate don't post those details anywhere

  • +1

    @Silentninja7 @HitlersDad
Ooopd my bad.. thought reference no is unique only

    Figured out..

  • It says maintain initial deposit to get 10 more shares. Does that mean we only need to maintain the $0.01 we deposited and can sell the tesla shares and withdraw?

    • better maintain everything including the first 5 free shares

      • I think you have to leave your deposit in for 30 days to get the bonus 10 shares

    • +1

I emailed them and this is what they said:

"For new clients to participate in the Welcoem promotion, To maintain your initial deposit for 30 days, you can sell the free shares received, but you may not withdraw funds during the 30-day holding period."

  • Can I confirm once I got the first 5 shares , I can sell them straight and withdraw ?
As long as I keep the initial deposit say $1 , I’m eligible for another 10 shares after 30 days ?
Or I have to keep the first 5 shares as well to qualify?

    • +1

I would keep initial deposit and shares for 30 days to be safe

  • Waste of time. After all the hoops what they give you aren't shares (even though the offer explicitly says so). Ended up being Options Coupons. Basically more hoops to jump.

    • Did you deposit ? If so you get the 15 shares

      The optiob coupons are 3xtra

      • Yes. Got no free stocks.

        • You using the app?

          • @Silentninja7: Need to use the mobile app

          • +1

@Silentninja7: Mine also aren't showing after depositing, am using the mobile app.

            • @iLoveYourFace: Did yoi ensure the referral code you clicked was the same as.my screen shot?

            • @iLoveYourFace: Are you aware that these free shares need to be "claimed"? To begin with, they are sitting in 'My Rewards', then you claim them, they shift to In Transit, and then finally land in your trading account.

        • You need to claim them

          • @Silentninja7: After a few days, I finally had 5 appear in the rewards section. Is there a way to see if I'm going to get the other 10? Or do I just have to wait?

  • Do you have to stay up all night to trade US stock? I’m looking at shorting Tesla but it says after hours. Would prefer my normal hours of sleep.

    • If you're based in QLD (as per profile), then the exchange hours will be 11:30pm to 06:30am for the next week, then the USA shifts off daylight savings and you'll be able to trade during NYSE market hours until 07:30am.

      • Yes, in qld. 6am I can manage, that gives me 90 minutes, should be able to do plenty, thanks :)

Initially, I was sceptical about webull with all data privacy issue but was interested to try so i used ID that i am going to change soon like bank statements , utility etc and created account… and to my surprise this is the best platform i can see with low brokerage and it also pays 2% interest on the free money sitting on the account unlike Stake who don't pay anything on the cash sitting on the account plus they want monthly subscription to look at the volume tape and depth which is silly… !

as i am not day trader, webull works better than stake for me as i do have time when cash stay ideal in the account so with webull i get interest on those fund which is more than the $2 extra i pay to trade through webull… which is worth for me.

also, webull desktop app has way better graph then stake, it has lots of information like analyst rating, financial of the company all handy to look at before trading and their desktop app is more like sophisticated software so i do like the way they are going and hope they get the option trading for ASX stock and take away monopoly of commsuck and other fat cat brokers … !

there is definately scope for improvement on webull and i wrote to them about it so hopefully we get more features soon on webull and they provide more features for asx stocks like screeners .. !

yes, i did got free shares which i sold so got more then what i could have got from stake … not sure if stake is even relevant compared to facility you get from webull.. !

Good that you're enjoying it. When it comes to fees, make sure that you're looking at them in totality, as some fees are "hidden" such as the exchange rate conversion. It's in this area especially that these new fintech brokers such as Tiger, Webull etc take a bit more than some other brokers.

I'll have to take another look at the Webull desktop app. Initially I compared it with Tiger Broker's desktop platform, and I preferred Tiger's desktop UI. On the mobile/tablet however, I do like Webull's interface the most, once I increased the size of the font :)

Remember also that Stake (for ASX shares) is CHESS sponsored, whereas with Webull it is a custodial arrangement. That's a relevant difference for many/most people.

      • @Charlie Dont Surf ……… WebUll is CHESS SPONSORED for ASX Stocks….. !

While for US stock Stake, WeBull and every single broker on this earth uses custodian model as in US they don't have anything like CHESS sponsored.

The tiger uses custodian model for the shares even for ASX listed stocks.

Webull desktop is free and amount of info you get on the desktop app is similar to what you see on professional platform including technical charts and fundamental right in front of you instead of browsing different websites.. !

Can anyone send me the referer code? thanks

    • You have messages off

You can click referrals on the home page

    • Message me if you can't find them or need help, you have pms off

  • Thanks to whoever finished their signup they started 6 months ago!

15 Tesla is better than nothing.

  • I signed up last night verified and deposited and have just claimed the first 5 shares (you will NEVER guess what I got). I can't see any mention of the 10 more for holding in my account. Is it like that for everyone? Yes I made sure to get the right referral like OP said

  • its now 15 free shares for the referrer and referral whooooo

  • +1

Why do people click on a referral and not register lol

  • 4 days left to sign up people!!

  • 2 days left people

  • I got 2 ppl to sign up

  • Point to note

For anyone who hasnt signed up, you have 1.5 days left

Anyone who has made an application and still not approved, its probably your photo was not clear, they send an email with details on what to do, so if its been a few hours or a day, check your email and spam email.

Anyone who deposits, if the bank says bank account not found, send the 1$ anyway as they are generaly new accounts and your bank does not know it exists, the 1$ will still land in your account

    Happy WeBulling

  • Thanks OP.

I signed up, but the ID verification page within the app was extremely slow and buggy. After multiple attempts, it finally worked.

    Just keep trying lol.

  • If you've made and submitted an application, but not yet approved, by the closing date. Will you still be eligible for the promotion?
