The price in title is after all stacking discounts have been applied, using a trade-in device valued at $5.

I was not able to complete checkout because Asurion (the trade-in provider) is broken for me but I expect it should work for others.

To get this price:

  1. Install the Samsung Shop app to take advantage of the 10% discount for your first in-app order. Use the app for the remaining steps.
  2. Add the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 512GB to your cart. You must choose from the online exclusive colours only.
  3. Navigate to Computing & Display > Memory & Storage > Memory Card > EVO Plus microSD Card. Add 2 of the 64GB to your cart.
    This should now have activated the additional 20% off advertised here: https://www.samsung.com/au/youmake/
    If it hasn't taken effect, try forcing your cart to update by incrementing the quantity of SD cards, then decrementing.
  4. Add a trade in device to take advantage of the $600 trade-in bonus. You can use the TradeUp app to generate a $1 code for generic headphones (Or so I've heard. Asurion doesn't work for me. I added a $5 Huawei Mate 20 for testing.)
    For reference, my total at this point is $1,382.
  5. Apply your 10% loyalty code.
  6. Apply your $100 loyalty code.
  7. Apply your $50 newsletter code.

I featured this particular device because it is eligible for the trifecta of bonus trade-in, stacking 10% discounts, and 20% off with the https://www.samsung.com/au/youmake/ bundle. For example, the 256GB model does not work, but the 1TB does. It may also apply to the S23 Ultra and Flip5. If it's not working, try testing combinations of other low-value products advertised in the above link instead of the SD cards.

      Yes, they blocked all 10% loyalty voucher due to this deal so no stacking. BTW, I emailed to support hoping it can be fixed. I will let you know if it is. it does not work anywhere for the one I have.

      • Yeah I can only add newsletter voucher and 100$ discount voucher. Adding the loyalty voucher invalidates the previous two vouchers

  • It processed the order with one Bud and many attempts. $50 voucher didnt work before or after the glitch re: payment gateway as it said the voucher was used even though it hadnt been

    • Did you do this last 30mins? I'm unable to apply 10% loyalty on the bundle with 1 Buds2. What was the total price ended up in?

      • The 10% loyalty code was hit and miss as well, even this morning. Needed a few attempts because either it didnt get accepted or it said value of cart needed to be more than loyalty vvoucher value. So $1060 for a mem card, 256gb Fold, buds, 405 for a p7 pro trade in.

  • My trade-in finally worked but when I enter the code into the Samsung purchase page, getting error

    "You cannot proceed with Trade-in as the Trade-ID is invalid."

    Any suggestions on what issue might be? Is the trade in email or contact details linked to the purchase in any way?

      Been there. You would have chosen pay by store instead of pay by online when generating the trade in. Generate a new one and choose payonline

  • $1,080.44 for 512gb S23 Ultra + 1x Buds2 with +$1 headphones trade-in.

    Not sure if I ended up getting all the vouchers to apply but it was so iffy and was worried it would get fixed again so went for it.

    Shame I wasn't able to get the 512gb S23 Ultra for ~$820 with the 2x 64gb cards.

        Mine was very iffy. Looks like Buds2 won't work any more but Buds2 pro might still.

        My 10% voucher was for trade in only, so I couldn't apply it without doing the trade in and couldn't be used when any other item was added.

        I added in this order:
        S23 Ultra 512gb
        Headphones trade-in
        10% voucher
        $50 voucher
        $100 voucher (only reduced price by $50)
        Buds2 (this removed my vouchers when adding)
        Removed Buds2
        Reapplied 10% Voucher
        Added Buds2
        Reapplied $50
        Reapplied $100 (again only reduced $50).

      I think Buds2 no longer work. Buds2 pro seemingly do but might eat up all the savings. Still essentially would be getting the buds2 pros for free.

    Hi all, please try to check your credit card to see if you have a pending $1 from Asurion. I have it on my credit card despite the error payment message. I assume that it should disappear after several business days.

    • It failed for me, couldn't get the phone, but yeh 2 lots of $1 pending charges. Shouldn't clear though, otherwise gonna waste even more time trying to get a charge back. Mega fail lol

    I'm so angry I'm about to buy an iPhone..

    Seriously I have never spent so long on a deal. I had today off, so spent way longer than I should have. I literally watched the deal get worse and worse as things have sold out

    I have accepted that best I can get is $1180 for 512gb ultra after stacking codes in app. No 20% makes this a bust and might as well wait for the S24. But man it was in my cart today for $780 and I hesitated. Maybe deep down I shall never be an ultra kind of guy. Flip at best.

      Don't feel too bad about the $780. The trade up pretty much did not work at all today and very few people actually got it that cheap.

      I had to do trade in first, then you make (adding buds2). Adding buds2 also removed my vouchers and had to reenter.

      Just try combinations of adding and removing things to see if you can get it all to stick.

    • That's pretty good. I had $1,080.44 for 512gb S23 Ultra + 1x Buds2 with +$1 headphones trade-in. I'd probably spent the $20 extra to get pro's if I could have got that working.

    Manage to purchase a zflip5 256g for $455.49. The order you apply vouchers does matter. I tried a couple of times and seems the order below give me the best price.

        Considering the retail price $1649 , it is a pretty good deal. Btw only paid $99 for zflip4 at jb early this year by trade in a z flip 3, and only paid $200 for a z flip 3 by trade in a s21, and only paid about $200 for s21 by trade in a s20 plus, and….. So I guess it is the strategy Samsung use to keep their customers. Even their phone is overpriced but if you grab this deal every year still seems to be pretty good value.

  • Finally got S23 Ultra and Buds 2 pro for 997 in my cart. Checkout failed and the 10% for first order has disappeared now. This is an impossible deal. I have wasted 3 hours and now giving up

    Will try to return/cancel the buds 2 pro when it arrives
