Sadly Macron Music is having a closing down sale, with some nice bargains available. Unfortunately they no longer have online stock tracking so you can only see their stock if you can go down there and pick up, but they still have quite a lot of stock - particularly Fenders, and they also have some other instruments (e.g., drums, keyboards). They speak in Be'lakor, NO, Draconian, My Dying Bride, BFMV, Murder of My Sweet, Sentenced, Paradise Lost, Rammstein language.
It's a shame when these sorts of business shut up shop, but I went there a couple of weeks ago when the big hyped "sale" started and it was entirely unsurprising why they're going out of business. 45 minutes to get into the place only to find that only a handful of items in the drum department actually had sale prices marked on them (not really much cheaper than you can get elsewhere), the remainder just had the standard retail price tags, which you typically never pay anyway. I asked a staff member about item pricing who acted like it was an odd request and said I could find out the price at the checkout (probably half an hour wait for that too). Yeah, nah mate.
Fair enough, I didn't check out the drums but the guitars certainly all had their sale prices on them!
Makes sense - with a website as shite as theirs I'm surprised they lasted this long.
I believe they deactivated their website contents with the closing down sale as they no longer are tracking inventory online.
For anyone curious I messaged their facebook page asking if they would deliver (they wouldn't). But they have new Gibson SG standards listed for <$2,500 which is a good deal.
