  • omg those gaming headsets are REALLY expensive

  • +5

    These are pretty good.
    Mic quality is good.
    Replaceable battery is surprisingly convenient.

    • +3

Very convenient. It's the best feature of them.

    • Is the battery any better than the previous models?
I had 1 of the original styles that used like a 2000s Nokia battery, and it was horrid.

Changed to a HyperX Cloud Alpha

This is a great product. I have this paired to my iPhone via BT so I can answer calls with the click of a button when I’m gaming from my PC.

Also, the DAC which charges the spare battery can be powered via USB from your PC. The only thing you need to be careful of is the small display on the DAC is an OLED screen is very susceptible to burn in if timeout settings aren’t configured correctly. My display is completely F’d because it was constantly on and displaying information for weeks straight. This was ultimately due to a BIOS setting that kept the USB ports powered after a system shutdown.

  • This and the Razer Barracuda Pro Wireless ($300 on eBay) seem to be the only two viable options for both low-latency wireless AND noise cancelling.

I'd love something like a Bose QC45 with Aptx-LL, but not yet an option

  • This is the older version right?

Also, this is showing as 344 for me.

    • the '18 release

appears it dropped another 9% updated post.
      !cancel and reorder

  • Man, im still using my arctis 5's from 2016, replacing the earcups and headband strap every so often. They were $120

$350 seems pretty steep to me
