Recommendations for Best Business Focused Wireless Keyboard & Mouse

Hi OzB brainstrust,

I need some advice. I'm looking to pick up a new wireless keyboard and mouse for use at work. Use is Web stuff, Office 365 apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) etc. I'm trying to gauge what is the recommended hardware these days…still Logitech stuff or something else? Wanting a keyboard that, while it can be mechanical, has quiet keys as I don't want to be pissing off my colleagues etc. Also would be wanting a full size keyboard with num pad. For the mouse, I'm open to any suggestions for what people think is a good choice these days.

Would greatly appreciate any recommendations/suggestions :)

    • lol not sure if troll or serious. I need full size keyboard with numpad. Budget not really an issue, just want something that is durable, reliable & with good battery life.

    Keyboard: Logitech MX Keys S.

Mouse: Logitech MX Master 3S or Logitech MX Anywhere 3S.

      This. /thread

I actually have both mice: one for WFH and one for when I go in to the office

    • Ahh so Logitech still the way to go eh? Can I confirm how these connect? Is it via a standard Logitech Unified Receiver or is it via their newer "Bolt" ones? Can I use the same receiver for both peripherals?

They both connect to a single Logitech Bolt USB wireless receiver or use bluetooth.

Champion, thanks for that. I'll def look into them both!

@Devastator0: All good. Also the Logitech Bolt USB can connect up to 6 Logitech Bolt enabled keyboards and mice.

  • Something with Topre. I used to have a Type Heaven at a previous job. I've also used a Keychron K6 in the office a few times.

Otherwise, the MX Keys is a decent recommendation or the Magic Keyboard if you're on Mac. Personally, I prefer the Mac Keyboard.

    • Standard Topre is still pretty loud, though Realforce does make a factory-silenced version.

  • Mx vertical and k860

Second vote is mx keys and mx mouse

I have both kits. The ergo kit is at work. The other is at home

    Logitech MX Mechanical Combo

  • Another option to consider, I have a K780 and MX Ergo to reduce desk space usage. But that's because I keep a lot of crap on my desk so may not be relevant. It has a numpad but shrunken arrow keys, which is a rarity but great for the office.

I bought 3 K780s when they were $30 on Amazon once because I like them that much. Keys are really nice, easy to switch between 3 devices (which I actually use) means no screwing around with KVM for my desk as my mouse does the same.

Huge downside is no lights anywhere on the keyboard. Not just lacking backlit, it doesn't have a caps or numlock indicator. That really bugs me.

MX Ergo because my wrist appreciates it.
