  • This or Whittaker's? Germany made vs NZ made.

      • Taste-wise, I like Lindt Lindor better than Whittaker's (irrespective of ingredients) but I know that many people on OzB like Whittaker's more.

Why ppl like Lindt has got me stuffed…whipped within a inch of its life that it has no depth of flavour….at all.

          • @Ryanmyo: Agreed, I just don't get it, I never have. Worst tasting chocolate for sale. Marketing is an interesting business.

@FXx: Again, keeping the quality of ingredients aside, I find Lindor to be irresistibly smooth and soft (plus, I like chocolates to be on a sweeter side). Whittaker's or other brands (e.g. Cadbury) maybe able to make a good chocolate in general but they don't have a product that compares with Lindor. I categorize Lindor in the 'softer' form of chocolates, which is different from a typical Cadbury, Toblerone or Whittaker block.

Welcome to 2023 where everything used to be cheaper.

You used to be able to pitch a tent too.

      • Now it's in appropriate at Aldi.

      • Nice.

The Coles Belgian chocolate is $2.30 a block. Has been that price for ages. I'm surprised they haven't copied Woolies and Aldi and jacked up the price

They just forgot to, it's gonna change now XD

    Tastes cheap

This is good stuff actually.. have you actually tried ?

      • -6

Yep tried and it’s pretty yuck compared to every Cadbury block around.

        • That's a low bar

        • Cadbury dairy milk in Australia is the worst tasting chocolate for me ( i have tasted Cadbury dairy milk from 2 other countries/continents and they taste way better than the Aussie dairy milk). taste is subjective i agree. but definitely would rate it the worst among Whittaker's, choceur, lindt.

    • The White Chocolate tastes premium to me.

  • +1

It was $2 on sale last year. The good old days.

    • Yeah I was about to type that. Been so long I wasn't sure 2 bucks in the before times.

  • great chocolate

I buy 4 blocks a week but these flavors suck. Of course they dont have coconut, hazelnut, almond and top deck on sale lol. These flavors are among the worse. And who ever thinks cadburys range tastes better than aldi needs there head examined… absolutely vile.
