plus a few more, mostly ladies' dress watches.

Edit: only the blue GMT Prospex and PADI turtle are left.

The GT Pro 3 is a terrible looking watch though, it looks decent as a "smart" watch that isn't a smart watch. The GT Pro 3 is the most dumb "smart" watch you can buy. It's quite dumb compared to an Apple Watch for example.

      • Two week battery life, pings notifications, takes calls, sapphire crystal display, titanium body. I can tell you as a tradie there isn't a scratch on it after 6 months and it's gotten plenty of dings. Does all the fitness stuff that you get bored with after a week. If you really need NFC or 5g on a watch ok, spend extra for a day battery life and scuffed up display.

        • Yea mate, suits you to a tee! That doesn’t mean it looks good, or is a good smart watch, or even good at fitness tracking. It’s just a watch that suits you! I got a g shock that buzzes notifications, battery lasts 12 months, built like a tank. Samsung watch 5 has sapphire and steel and does far more than the gt pro and arguable looks slightly better. I do completely get the whole cheap watch for work thing though, invade it gets busted.

    • A smart watch isn't so smart compared to a phone, and it's a task to charge both every day. Can't even track your sleep if you have it on charge lol.

A smart phone is kinda like a dumb PC or laptop.

      • That's why I prefer the GT Pro, I have the Pro 2, was 220$ and does everything most people need and only change it every 10 days for an hour or two. You can get by just putting it on charge when you're in the shower every day. Samsung 5 pro has additional features and the option of an additional SIM if you want an additional phone on your wrist.

        • Not interested in smart watches, pretty short life span.
          Never heard of them, Samsung?
I have a Fitbit charge 5 (plenty for steps, sleep hr data, PayPass, record activities GPS) only have to charge once a week and fairly minimal so can wear normal watches on left arm.

          • @G-rig: The life span is certainly an issue.

  • Looks like it only applies to watches that are already discounted, OP reads like it's on a range including already discounted.

That's because a couple of hours ago there were a couple of non-reduced watches that had the 30% tag, and possibly more that I hadn't checked. They all appear to be gone now.

  • No Astrons on sale. Limited number offered.

Presage SRPH93J is drop dead gorgeous. Tempting.

    • +2

      Do it bro.

    • I can't add it to cart, guess it's gone :(

    • -2

You will be the only one wearing this one for sure! Ugly as.

      • Curious to know what you consider to be a good looking watch?

  • +1

@rosebank how much did you buy from this sale

    • +1

None because I already have 3 sumos, 2 king turles and a Willard. Also because I'm in tokyo JDM shopping

  • -2

Some of the ugliest watches I have ever seen…

  • Thanks, got a green solar GMT.

  • Picked up the SRZ545P for the mrs, RRP $795 came down to $391 after extra 30% off.. it's a good deal i guess?

Sapphire Crystal and blue hands, quite rare in this price range.

Quartz watch for $529 down from $750? No.

  • +1

Hmmm I haven't bought a watch in over 10 months… No good. How to fix this issue?

    • Aliexpress, have you bought a Steeldive SD1970 yet? It changes lives.

      • Hahaha not yet. Im tempted on the 1993

  • How does the Prospex for $587.30 compare to this previous deal which is still available at $400 for a Prospex?

This one has a more complex GMT movement, a different case style that doesn't normally appear on their cheaper watches, and sapphire crystal instead of hardlex/mineral crystal. Plus, the black dial and bezel is a bit boring :)

A closer match would be the SNE589P which is currently $505 at Starbuy (also not too bad, it usually hovers around $800). That nets you sapphire and a better (IMO) bezel and more proportionate indices, plus no cyclops.

Not a Smart Watch , why bother for any price. not great value not great utility

    • +3

      Lol this again.
The people wearing these smart watches are fking dumb.

      • -4

Serious question why are smart watches pho-king dumb exactly they meet many use cases other than looking pretty and telling the Time. Most (if not all) smart watches cost much less than rolexes, but have far superior capabilities and have far greater utility.
you could probably count the number of capabilities of a traditional watch with the fingers on one hand, whereas smart watches have gone through a number of generations now that there are more features than you can possibly use.

but if you prefer a traditional watch over a computer on your wrist …then good on you

        • Some people don't get it.
          Tech toys are fun though.

        • +2

One is annoying, wearable landfill with no endurance.
The other is something that can be handed down or actually sold in years to come.

        • Smart watches don't seem to help with punctuation or sentence case or structure.
          Shame. Not very smart.

          • @Lord Ra: What are you saying? H3R34TH4C0MM3NTS' grammar is 3L33T.

And no, I don't want a computer on my wrist. Maybe when I was 5 I wanted a Dick Tracy wristwatch.
