I'm guessing that it's fresh to them, but shipped off out of Italy because summer is over.
Either that or the light coloured glass, low alcohol and lemon added means it can go funky quickly. Alcohol and hops are what preserves beer, this is probably low on both.

These are brilliant beers for a hot day. Last time we were in Europe, they had a late autumn hot spell. We were smashing these lemon radlers - had ones from Peroni, Birra Moretti, and Becks. So refreshing, and didn't knock you around.
At the time, said often they'd be awesome Australian summer beers. Shipping cost is a bit painful for non-Melburnians. But if you can grab some, would highly recommend.
