At the risk of numerous negative comments about this carrier, I just wanted to let you know that today I am very impressed with them. Ordered an Iphone 5 ( expecting a few comments on this too ) on Tuesday night just received it by courier today. Saved the queue, which I would never do. I have both Optus and Voda at home and both are on par.

I think vodafone is fine if the areas you are in have good reception, but this simply isn't the case for everyone. I only have telstra/optus networks as viable options.
I agree, I'm currently under contract with vodafone for another 2 months and planning to switch to Optus/Telstra just because of reception problems in my area but otherwise vodafone in quite good with everything else.
I'm sorry but their data speeds are rubbish. That's the only significant difference.

Good on you, the major difference I am going with vodafone is because their plan includes international calls (where optus doesn't).
I want to know when non-vodafone customers can join and get their phone!
