With the price of petrol being pretty crazy these days… 6% (up from 2.5) is about 12c off a $2/L petrol cost… Which seems a lot better than 4c…
Ampol might not always be cheaper… But these gift cards might make it the cheapest if you have an ampol close by.
6% Cashback (Was 2.5%) on $25, $50 and $100 AmpolCash Gift Cards @ ShopBack App

Ampol has been the cheapest in Hobart (moonah and a few other suburbs) for several months….sitting a little over $2 a litre in recent times
Looked up which stores accept ampol digital cash and none of the ones near me did.. worth checking.
Keep mind there are some privately owned AMPOL that do not accept any gift cards, burnt myself once.
And after you fill up, the attendant tells you the scanner is down so that digital cash can't be used atm. I always bring a physical one as a backup. In other words, do not buy digital ones when not have discounted physical ones.
I find ampol to be always at least 6% dearer in price compared to local independents
Stacks with NRMA discount too I think.
Stacks with myToyota app for a extra 4 cents plus you get points scanning the rewards card (one point per dollar)
For more fuel savings, check the air in your tyres when you fill up. Rule of thumb, PSI in tyres is double your rim diameter, YMMV.
Most manufacturers under inflate tyres for better ride quality. But fuel economy and tyre life get hit.
Thank you op
Email received today from Toyota re Ampol. "myToyota has officially moved across to the myToyota Connect app. We have a 10c off/litre fuel discount waiting for you in my Toyota Connect to celebrate!"
Local town east of Melbourne 229.9 for U91, always terrible prices at this local town, thanks tourism.
At least we got a 7/11 a couple of years ago, lots of choppers flying around now :-)
