So, I've returned a computer I've used for about 3 years due to battery issues, and I'm now stuck with $1200 product care voucher. Apparently, I've got to use the whole voucher in one go, and I can only buy electronic items, so that means everything along the lines of computers, phones, keyboards, monitors, PS5, etc. So I'm just looking for ideas on what I can do with it, I'm thinking of cashing it out on an Iphone 15 and selling it, but I'm looking for possible ideas on what to do with it, if possible, I can make use of the price match policy in Harvey Norman. I prefer to not have to top up money on top, but I'm open to any ideas. Thanks in advance for the replies.
Harvey Norman $1200 Product Care Voucher

You don’t… need a new laptop?
I don't need a new phone, computer, laptop or anything at the moment. But it's not a voucher that I have physically, it is only available in a certain store, it doesn't expire, but it's a bit sketchy to leave the voucher there forever, idk what HN would pull if I decide to pop in years down the line to use it, so I'm just thinking of a way to spend it currently.
Just upgrade something? TV, fridge, washing machine etc
I think I can buy a TV, but not fridge, washing machine, coffee machine, etc. Only electronic items, but I don't need a TV at the moment. I was looking at the gaming desktops but they're severely marked up sadly.
Edit: I have checked with the store on this. Harvey limiting my options which sucks i guess
It also sucks i have to spend it all in one go, I think it increases the chance that i frivolously grab a bunch of drastically marked up items from HN and increase their profit margin. I'm thinking of a well thought out purchase that doesn't get me gouched too much by ole harvey.

@Deon Hong - new customer when you're ready

Totally sucks to be you ;)
Can you check with fam/friends, etc who might need electrical items from HN & give you the cash for it?
Also, what did you pay for the computer 3 years ago?
It would have been $1200
Are they allowed to issue vouchers instead of refund cash or credit to bank account?
Wow, they actually paid it? The reviews of "product care" are so bad that I declined it on a purchase recently.
Yea they paid it, and but i have to spend all of it in 1 go. Which sucks, I was planning to slowly use it with accessories and electronics i need from time to time
Personally I'd rather do a trade-in deal than deal with ppl on FB etc
You really don't know of $1200 worth of items that you need?
