After the VB weber grill post earlier was planning to buy one but after doing a bit of research found that this was a better deal for me. SNS Grills appear to get the nod from many BBQ reviewers to be as good as the Weber, however compared to the VB this package also includes the cover, side fold out table, slow'n'sear charcoal basket and the drip n griddle pan. Also has a number of other advantages including the thermometer is on the correct side of the grill, plus a few others - there are plenty of reviews comparing this to the normal weber kettle.
Placed an order this morning with them and was able to pick up a few hours later.
Weber obviously trusted and true customer service, not sure how SNS goes here in Australia, but I thought it was worth it for me compared to the Weber because I could also pick up from the store which was not too far from me, and saved on postage. Hope it helps someone. I am studying the ways of the charcoal BBQ myself after selling my gas one last week, so please share any tips or wisdom if you can as well in the comments for a beginner.
For anyone wondering if these are any good - they are. I've been smoking, grilling etc on one for 12 months. They take all the good things about a Weber and make it better.
I also have a Weber kettle (not a VB one though) that I use just as much, sometimes even both at the same time and I wish the Weber had a shelf!
