Chargers -
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/14257560/redirYou're really rolling the dice with a Heymix product based off what I've read. You might get something OK(not good, OK at best). You may also get something missing safety features or protections. It even be a case of press F for your Pro Max.
Have a read through previous deals and make your own decision.
Define "best"
As long as they honour their warranty and is in Aussie retail stores. I believe Amazon/Temu/Brands with weird names/ will be too risky. Your mileage may vary
Branded. Reputable.
Examples, in rough order: Apple, Samsung, Anker , Belkin, Satechi.
Avoid any unknown brand with rebranded products. Amazon is full of them.
Is Satechi good brand? I saw it sometime. It is bit expensive lol.
Google: To get the fastest charging speeds on an iPhone 15, you'll want at least a 20W USB-C charger.
STM one offers 35W for both uses of USB-C port but it's not clear what's the power split is.
GaN made is nice to have.
Maybe Belkin?
My Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 1TB uses Belkin charger. Use that.
The one that comes in the box
This Anker says 33W but the ports are 20W & 12W - what happen to 1W?
33w if only using the Usb-C port.
Yes, I forget about this.
The truth is out there, scully.
first time I've heard of this STM brand, how reliable is it?
Thanks OP. Just bought one :)
