Note: this is the China version (QB826) and not the International version (QB826G)

    Differences

    • +1

      valuable insight

    • +2

Oh. That explains it. We actually have 2 and I was about it tell OP their title was wrong, thinking it's 210W.

    • +4

Is the international version just the same but with fake stats because they know foreigners can't sue them in a Chinese court and win? Has anyone opened them up and checked?

      • +1

I have tested the QB826G and it seems to meet all the advertised input and output power specs, including the 120W output. (I only have one tester so could not test all ports simultaneously.)

    • So buy or no buy at this price point? Worth sitting around waiting for the International version to come up here?

      • +2

Up to you. The International version usually drop to ~A$140 Delivered @ Mostly Melbourne via Amazon AU

        • +2

Sounds like it's worth paying an extra $20 for the International one. I'll give this one a pass in that case. Based on my experience with the current Baseus paperweight I'm waiting for the right person to fling at.

  • So it'd be quite feasible to run a surface pro or a MacBook on one of these over a weekend camping? If the boss is reading I'm asking for a friend.

    • +1

Yes. No issues with charging 15" MacBook Pro M1 from QB826.

  • +1

I have one of these and pretty happy with it. Just don't expect to charge most laptop to full when using it like a proper powerbrick. But dose the job fine with fast charging speed. It charges my laptop at 85 watt max bit I think it's the limit of my laptop or the USB cable. Overall good powerbank. I bought is for around $80-90 over a year ago.

Checked with Amazon seller a week ago and confirm it'll be down to under 140 starting tomorrow for the qb826G. Might be worth holding off this deal till tomorrow at the very least.

    • Oh great to know, have been eyeing a laptop power bank for ages!

I messaged mostly Melbourne (the seller) on Amazon last night and been advised the shipment is delayed and they'll have the sale this week when they arrive.

        • Oh alright, that is unfortunate, they are selling it on Amazon right now but maybe that want to sell the cheaper stock that is delayed at the reduced price only

          • @FrugalFindsDownUnder: Possible. Will definitely buy from them as the aliexpress option wouldn't arrive until November. I also rechecked the messages and it'll be sold at 134.99.

        • I think I got mine from this seller. Shipping was very fast for a shipment from Melbourne (I'm assuming it was from there) to Sydney.

        • Thanks for letting us know… I've been considering getting a second one!

Deal is on at Amazon for the qb826g with 35 dollars promo code. Seller messaged to let me know that there are limited numbers available. Snagged one. Good luck
