Airline Advertising Price but Unable to Book That Fare

I am trying to book a flight to London on Etihad airways with an Abu Dhabi stopover, but I keep getting an "unexpected error" when trying to book.

Tried on all devices, PC, Mac, phone, Etihad app - all error. Found the same flight on booking.com - also got an error.

I called Etihad support and they said that the price on the website is incorrect, and that actual price for that same flight is almost double. I tried to ask them to book it on my behalf for the price listed on the website but they kept refusing, saying the price in their system is different.

What I can't understand is that they still have seats available on the same itinerary, but for some reason the website has a price error.

Shouldn't I be able to book for the advertised price? Otherwise this is misleading/false advertising.

What are my options here?

    Take a screenshot of the fare and flight details - then get Flight Centre to book it for you showing them the screenshots.
    Better still, go into a Flight Centre and show them the flight and fare on your phones browser.

      They are experts at selling printed IATA tickets, not angular. Or eCommerce, for that matter.

      Making the effort involved with booking through them, or even travelling, questionable- from a sanity and personal security perspective

    Look like you looking at old session and the pricing that you after already sold out, hence , unexpected error.

    Airline, usual allocate sales for set number of tickets.

    Was looking at some Qantas fares to NZ, despite searching all the dates within the sale period I couldn't get that price - ah, wait, Qantas, ok now I understand

    Use Qants and pay double.

    The flight has been banned by Qantas. Thats why !
